Glyquin XM Hydroquinone Cream Ingredients

Glyquin xm is the new version of Glyquin cream with extra components added (vitamins C and E and hyaluronic acid).

This product contains 4% hydroquinone and requires a medical prescription.

Glyquin xm also contains 10% glycolic acid (more than other brand names) which is a natural exfoliator. Its action allows deep penetration of active ingredient and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is well-known moisturizing agent. I use Glyquin about a week and I see a difference in my dark circles. I like this product. The texture is too heavy for day so I use it at night.

My dermatologist recommended Glyquin. She said it was the only product that could help my Melasma (brown spots). I used it everyday, at night, for 8 weeks. I rarely skipped a night. I started using it in the month of September, once summer was drawing to and end and I knew I would have less sun exposure to the face. The product worked well and significantly reduced the appearance of some very large and prominent brown patches on my cheeks and forehead. I only applied it to the affected areas. I was unable to use it in the morning, as the lotion is very think and sticky and takes hours to penetrate in the skin. At night, I had to place a towel on my pillow. Using it twice a day, I feel, would have been hard on my skin. I found towards the end of the 8 weeks that my skin was sensitive to other moisturizers in the areas where I was applying the Glyquin. My skin would sometimes burn when I applied my morning moisturizer. I stopped using the Glyquin after 8 weeks as I was happy with the results and wanted to give my skin a break. I recommend this product, but beware the texture is terrible and I’m sure many will not be able to apply it in the morning before heading out of the house. You must also commit to at least 8 weeks of application to see results. Note as well…it’s summer now and sadly all my brown patches came back. I plan on using it again in the fall.
