Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Corrector did not work for me . I see why there is no guarantee.
I purchased this product in Nov 2009. I have used it every day following the directions. To this day I have seen no improvement at all. I have sun spots on my cheek and they are still there no lighting at all. It was a waste of money for me.

This product does absolutely nothing for you……………..I am shocked that Clinique continues to market this item to poor, unsuspecting women!
Their Derma White range worked a lot better…………..They should never have taken it off the market!

I purchased the Even Better Clinical and have not seen results like promised. There was very little lightening, if any, of sun spots. I didn’t even think it made my skin feel like “silk” like the lady told me when I bought it. Very dissapointed!
I also purchased the Clinique because of all the good reviews. I had very light sun spots and thought if it’s working that well on darker skin, it will be great. Big disappointment. I used it faithfully day and night with sunscreen every day for a month and there was no change at all. Not even a hint of lightening. Save your money.
I had an extreme allergic reaction to this particular product and I have never had any issues with a skin care product before! I developed tiny bumps on my face hands and chest, where I applied the moisturizer. There was visual swelling and extreme itching! My skin is completely dried out still three weeks later. I’ve used many other Clinique products and never had a problem. Stay away from whatever chemicals are in this product!
I have some mild acne scares and small lighter pigment spots. I had high hopes for this product, but there was absolutely no improvement at all. There was no lightening and I did not like they way it felt under make up. Bought it at Nordstrom and am going to return it for a refund.
Very expensive but doesn’t work at all. My skin reacted really bad at it and gave me more dark spots. And since I live in France, there is no refund policy.
I am very surprised that there were so many bad reviews. I did purchase this product and just use it under my make up with the moisturizer. There is an excellent product I did however find that is not expensive I noticed a differnce within 3 days. You apply at nite before bed….its called ROC MULTI-CORREXION NIGHT TREATMENT. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I haven’t seen anyone really writting reviews about it but it really does work and I will continue to purchase, there is a little stinging when you first put it on but it goes away within 5 minutes. Try this product. I know it really does work!

I had the SAME allergic reaction, and I’ve NEVER had a reaction like this in the past to any products. I used the dark spot corrector on the side of my face where I had a couple of blemishes, and within a month, after not noticing any significant changes in skin lightening, I started getting small bumps along my jawline. I immediately stopped usage, and these bumps became a little bigger and more noticeable. They are taking FOREVER to go away (it’s been about 3 months) and have been severely itchy.
I just want to say to Holly that I’ve been looking all over the internet for similar situations such as ours with this product, and this is the first time I’ve found someone confirming what I believe to be an allergic reaction to this product.
If you have sensitive skin (I never really considered myself having sensitive skin before), take precaution! However, I know a couple of people who HAVE noticed a change in their blemish appearances and speak very highly of this product.

I had used the whole even better treatment (the serum and the moisturiser)almost for 1 year, and to be honest it was not any good results for me, it didn’t do anything of what I’ve been told when I bought it.
The first time that I bought this product was with the first version of even better, I’ve been told if I really want to have good result it will take up to 6 months. I am medium brown skin colour (I am Latin American background) and I have an annoying dark spot around my mouth, product of sun damage.
It was almost the 6 months and after used the product everyday, still didn’t see any result as I expected.
Then I tried the clinical version, this time I did because I had the guaranty that if I was not happy with the product, my money will be refund, so I gave a chance and after 3 months of using everyday, I gave up and I returned it to the store and got my money back.
Definitely, it didn’t work for me at all and it was also a waste of money, because the first time that I bought it, no one gave me my money back.
I had adult acne a few years ago and it left me with acne scars and I also suffered from a lot of pigmentation.
I had used the Clinique line before (3 step system)when I saw they had introduced a new product to the market I decided to try it out.
I used The Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Corrector religiously for 3 months and there was absolutely no difference on my face not even a light fade on any of the dark spots.
I was quite disappointed but I’m still looking for that product
I used this product because i have a few dark spots on my face due to sun damage, and I agree to the other two comments above. I got some bumps on my face and they are taking forever to go away. I also started braking out specially on that area of the face where the bumps came out. I used it for two months and noticed no results. It did not work for me, it made my skin worst. I have never suffered from acne but I am now thanks to this expensive, innefficient product. don’t buy it, you’ll be wasting your time and money.
This cream actually worked really well on my light sun spots at my hairline and smoothed the skin in that area. HOWEVER…. on the rest of my face i had an allergic reaction. My eyes and forehead swelled up and I actaully had scabs on my eyelids from the burning (even though i didnt apply it to my eyelids) and to the skin right underneath my eyes. Also a week after having stopped useing this cream my forehead is still red and itchy and I now have deep creases going across my forehead (I hope they go away after my skin has healed because i did not have wrinkles there before using this cream) that I believe where caused by the burning and swelling. I would have to say that it did work but beware that if you are allergic to sunscreen chemicals(the ones they are now saying causes the free radicals in our skin to turn to melanoma if you wear it regularly) this product will most likely be more damaging than helpfull. I contains three common sunblocking chemicals that some people are allergic to.
This serum is actually making my acne scars on my cheeks disappear. I’ve tried chemical peels and they were so harsh and drying and this stuff moisturizes while fading the ugly scars. Very Happy!!! LOVE Clinique
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT.YOU WOULD THINK THAT AFTER A MONTH YOU WOULD NOTICE A VISIBLE DIFFERENCE CONSIDERING THE PRICE PAID. NO BETTER THAN AMBI SKIN TONE CREAM…AND AMBI COST LESS THAN $6.00.
Excellent for ME. I used Even Better Moisturer and noticed the brown spots on my checks lighted up and disappeared. I have olive skin and this was quite noticeably. I bought the Clinical Corrector and I’m happy with both products when used together. I get many compliments on my skin as people always think I’m younger than 57. I will use nothing else.
This product DOES NOT work. I’ve been using it faithfully morning and night and not only is my sun spot still visible, it didn’t even lighten the color.
Oh wow so many negative reviews! I’ve been using it for a week and though I haven’t seen a huge change in my sunspots, they’ve lightened up bit. But the real reason why I like this product is because in one week it has stopped my skin from breaking out. Keep in mind that I exfoliate daily, so maybe the combination of the two might be the reason I’ve seen such a great improvement. At this rate I expect it to completely clear up my sunspots and acne scars within a month or two. I’m surprised so many of you have had negative experiences – I love it!
Don’t buy this product! I used it for 6weeks with no results. In fact it broke my face out with small pimples and whiteheads! I am 37 and should not have acne issues. This serum only made matter worse.
