Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

   I am very disappointed at Clinique and how they advertise. I bought the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Corrector. All their ads on TV never say you need to use it with their other 3-stap system. I cannot afford more of their products, and now that I have this and used it for 2 weeks I can’t return it. Plus, in the enclosed pamphlet it gives no instructions at all in English about how much to apply and what other products to use it with. All I wanted to know was do I use it after cleansing and before moisturizing. There was nothing that said to have it work you needed to use it with one of their 3-step systems. When I finally got an email response from Clinique customer service about how to use it, that’s what they told me. It needs to be used with some of their other products. So, I just waster nearly $50 and I cannot afford to lose that kind of money. What a bad advertising policy they have.

   This really does work. You can use your regular cleanser, moisturizer, etc. I use a few drops, morning and evening, on my cheeks, upper lip, forehead to lighten age and sun spots. The container actually lasts for several months and my skin is lighter, more uniform, and less spotted. The results won’t look like the spots have been zapped with a laser, but the cost is a fraction of that. My skin looks even toned enough that I don’t feel horrible without foundation.

   I have tried many treatments, even the IPL laser ($1500) to get rid of my facial dark spots and nothing has worked. I was tired of wasting money buying fade creams that made no difference whatsoever. I have been using Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Corrector for over a month now and I see finally some hope. The spots are still visible but not as dark, I check the progress every week and I’m 3 shades lighter. My spots were almost the darkest on their chart, now I’m shade 8. I’m using it as instructed, I did check with the clinique rep for instructions in how to use it, nothing to it, just sunscreen after application. I recomend it, however, patience is very important. I have tried to get rid of these spots for over 10yrs, I’m confident that this time I’m done. I will continue using it for ever. I wish anybody that has my problem tried it. It works!!!

   It is a decent product. I have used Clinique for years.. The only problem is, as stated above, there are no instructions in the boxes. You have to ask the rep at the store you buy it at. However to answer your question, you use the even better.. after you have washed, used a toner/astringent(clarifying lotion is you are using Cliniqes 3step) and moisturize. THEN you use your even better.. Also make sure you are waiting 3 to 5 minutes between applying each product. Sunscreen is necessary and to be applied before moisturizer!! Hope this helps, doll!!

   I’ve been using Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Corrector for 5 weeks and have seen zero improvement in my melasma. I read other reviews that said it helped with melasma so I am really disappointed.

   I would not recommend this product. I’ve been using it for about a month and a half now and I can’t really say I’ve seen much improvement. I purchased this product because I have brown spots on my chin and around my mouth from old acne and sun damage. If the spots have changed… I haven’t noticed. Don’t waste your money.

    I have been using this product since mid-October and saw results after 4 weeks… must use every morning and night and I do not use the other “related products” nor did the sales representative try to sell me any of the other “related products”. It has now been 2 months and I am very pleased with the results. This product comes with a guarantee and the sales representaive told me if I was not happy with the results after 2 months to bring back the container and they will credit my account (bought at Macy’s)… also for those who talked about scars – this product is not for removal of scars, only damaged skin from the sun resulting in dark sun spots on your face. KEEP IN MIND this is a very gradual process and you must be deligent about applying twice a day.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I used this product diligently as directed and had no improvement of my dark spots what so ever!!! What a waste of time and money!!! I rate Clinique’s Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector a BIG FAT ZERO!!!
